We want an innovative and experienced manager, who has an understanding of landscape and building, with a passion for design and getting the best out of every project and delivering exceptional service.

Your daily activities will involve client interaction/sales, overseeing pricing and co-ordinating staff to obtain the best results for our clients. You must have a demonstrated ability to listen, interpret and understand a client brief and then to deliver on that brief, from an initial consultation, right through to the final product.

Proven and established experience in delivery a high-quality product and outcome within residential landscaping or construction, with a strong sales background are essential.

You will be both a team player and someone with the ability and confidence to work independently. You will be able to adapt to change in a fast paced studio environment whilst managing multiple projects and their dedicated design teams.

An attractive salary package including a company car will be offered to the successful candidate depending on experience and skill sets.

You will contribute to the design and delivery of significant new projects and be integral in shaping and growing our future. For all candidates we are looking for people with passion for their job, designers that can push the boundaries, whilst creating beautiful and environmentally aware landscapes that will thrill our clients.

Applicants for the Landscape Architectural positions will need to have experience in designing a range of project work from concept through to documentation and would have the ability to both work in a team environment and also to work autonomously on their own projects. Our preference is for candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years post graduate experience as a minimum.

This key role in the residential design team will cover the full range of residential design service including initial client consultation, delivery of design and construction quotations with a strong focus on sales, design development and then working with our construction teams delivering our clients dream gardens.

As we’re continuing to grow, we have new opportunities for experienced, keen, fit and hardworking people to join the team. We require both full time and casual roles but with the potential to turn into full time positions.  There is even the opportunity for TDL to put you through a traineeship so you get a Cert 3 in Horticulture at our cost.

These positions are available in 3 places: the metro area, the Port Kennedy area and the Bunbury area.

Experience in Landscape Maintenance for Commercial and Residential sites is highly regarded for our Maintenance roles.

For the commercial roles, we’re looking for all-round landscape construction experience.

To be successful you’ll need to be a positive team player with a ‘can do’ attitude. You’ll be completing a range of manual handling and related landscape tasks in a small team under the direction of a team leader. We’d love you to have a MH License and white card where possible. We’ll proudly supply you with our TDL branded uniforms, and all PPE is provided.

We are looking for a strong yet relaxed hands-on, all-round, flexible and influential HR professional who will thrive in a medium sized, diverse, centrally located Landscaping business.  This is a multi-faceted role where you will need to juggle conflicting priorities whilst making decisions to meet changing business needs across Design, Construction, Maintenance and Administrative areas.  You will be an effective negotiator highly skilled in people management, award interpretation, recruitment and traineeship management, whilst having excellent experience across all key facets of HR policy, procedure and systems management.  We have grown steadily over recent years and require a technically competent, quick thinker who can review procedures and bring the system into the new phase. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be instrumental in driving cultural change initiatives, whilst positively coaching and mentoring the management team.  Performance management, salary banding, researching and implementing best practice workplace initiatives will all be position requirements. Some understanding of safety would be highly advantageous.

You will need to be: A reliable, adaptable, great communicator with a strong work ethic and a ‘can-do’ attitude, who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and be a positive leader of change. Ideally you will want to work part-time over 3-5 days/week and establish a long-term career as a key player in our leadership team.

WHS COORDINATOR

We are looking for a passionate, adaptable and experienced Part Time WHS Coordinator.

We are seeking a passionate, adaptable and experienced Part Time WHS Coordinator to join the team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our Work Health and Safety standards are met on both our Commercial and Residential worksites and that our staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge to ensure commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe and innovative work practices. You will be responsible for the complete WHS function, including refining and implementing procedures, reporting, communication, training and continuously improvement to ensure both company and legislative compliance. You will be able to manage risk and implement practical controls across both Commercial and Residential worksites.  This will include performing site inspections, safety audits and representing the company on major projects, whilst ensuring the team are complying with all safety requirements.  You will provide WHS advice and guidance to all staff and organise/manage safety and toolbox meetings. It will be imperative that you work closely with Senior Management on practical initiatives to reduce accidents or incidents and enable transparency and continuous improvement

You will need to be: A qualified and experienced WHS all-rounder with a minimum Cert IV in Work, Health and Safety or equivalent and be highly knowledgeable in current WHS systems and processes within a similar landscaping or construction environment. You will be a flexible thinker with a keen interest in training, process development, improvement and effective management to ensure that all levels within the organisation are equipped with the appropriate WHS skill and understanding. You will be a reliable, positive, adaptable, relaxed person with a great work ethic and a can-do attitude, who can communicate effectively at all levels, both in the field and office.  You will be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment to achieve best practice initiatives. A white card and steel cap boots are mandatory as is the desire to work at both grass roots and office functional levels.
