Brookfield Place 1 Upgrade

Tim Davies Landscaping was awarded both the construction and ongoing maintenance of the Brookfield Place Upgrade, a high-profile public realm enhancement in the heart of Perth’s CBD. The project involved the careful removal, refurbishment, and reinstatement of custom furniture elements, along with the installation of new timber platforms, shaped rock boulders, and precast seating. Working in a busy commercial precinct presented logistical challenges, requiring detailed planning, off-site fabrication, and after-hours work to minimise disruption.

TDL implemented a staged methodology tailored to the urban environment. Works were scheduled primarily on weekends, with prefabricated materials delivered in advance for efficient installation. Temporary fencing, hoarding, pedestrian spotters, and protective measures ensured safety and preservation of existing finishes. With restricted access via St Georges Terrace and tight spatial constraints, the use of a spider crane and coordinated laydown zones enabled smooth delivery and high-quality results.
