Catalina Estate by Satterley

TDL served as the lead Landscape Architect for this development, providing comprehensive documentation services and IFC drawings throughout the estate. In this coastal context, we addressed the unique challenges of creating a premium open space that attracts residents and visitors, considering factors like orientation, prevailing winds, and coastal processes for long-term success.

Collaborating with Coastal Engineers, we designed functional spaces that responded to the harsh environment while utilising the natural topography. Our plans included various recreational areas, such as iconic playgrounds and parks, catering to diverse user needs. We emphasised high-quality construction and maintenance to enhance the estate’s appeal. Throughout the project, we worked closely with clients and stakeholders integrating sustainability, risk management, and safety to ensure lasting community value.
