Freshwater Bay Memorial Wall

Tim Davies Landscaping was engaged to design and subsequently construct a commemorative space at Freshwater Bay, centered around a custom memorial wall. The project commenced with a detailed review of land background documentation to ensure a sensitive and informed approach. TDL’s scope included the full design and documentation of the memorial wall layout, surface treatments, accessible pathways, seating, bin enclosures, and planting beds—creating a considered space for reflection and community use.

The selected material palette brought together high-quality hardscape finishes and a softscape scheme featuring native and coastal-resilient plant species. Gravel pathways lined with limestone, custom masonry, and complementary site furniture were integrated to reflect the character of the bay. From concept to completion, TDL delivered a cohesive and respectful space that balances
form, function, and meaning within the local landscape.
