Tuscan Henley Brook Living Space

The Tuscan themed home sits proud on an elevated site. The current landscape was dated and needing a refresh. The clients are avid horse lovers, so the new stable block needed to be softened and access to it from the home needed a link. Clients wanted a large fiberglass swimming pool with an automated Remco cover. The existing patio was not big enough and very hot to sit under. It also leaked where it joined the home. The paving surrounding the home was brick, but gave the space a very dated and dark feel which was uninviting. Existing plantings were tired and established olive trees were randomly planted. The clients wanted to refresh the space and have the new built elements pained and finished in colours that will be used on the remainder of the home in the future. The views to the paddocks and the hills beyond were concealed by mis-shaped hedges that closed in the space. Bore staining was an issue from an outdated and inefficient irrigation system.
