Landscape Design Project – Peppermint Grove

In response to the architecture of the home, the design incorporates mid-century modern details such as breeze block walls and crazy paving. We were able to retain a number of the existing mature trees within the new layout, while the Introduction of new small to medium sized trees in groves provides seasonal shade and adds intimacy to the garden rooms. The nominated plant palette is relatively lush, with an overarching green-on-green theme and seasonally flowering accent planting in muted white and pale pink tones. The landscape lends impact to the new front entry, creating opportunities to sit and enjoy the front garden. The plunge pool represents a sculptural, appealing focal point to the rear garden, while accommodating the unique requirements of the block.
