Landscape Design Project – Swanbourne

With a beautiful, interesting home at its centre, this landscape was unresolved and unflattering. An existing pool at the rear sits awkwardly below an underutilised outdoor area, and the front of the property lacks practical elements like vehicle and storage spaces, and a sense of visual impact. This design seeks to make the most of the existing pool and home by rethinking the slope of the landscape and incorporating a sense of visual harmony and appeal. The new landscape creates privacy, order and beauty by adding tiers that resolve the levels without awkwardness and create new distinct useful spaces, and creates harmony through much needed screening and planting
